When Chuck Hammond and Art Christoffersen aquired Raining Rose, the company was a small lip balm manufacturer operating out of a family kitchen. With grit, tenacity, and steadfast commitments to quality and employees, we weathered a devastating flood in 2008 and grew rapidly to become a company comprised of 300+ employees, two primary divisions, and a 127,000-square foot facility.
Raining Rose, Inc. is a full-service manufacturer of personal care products based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Our expertise and reputation has been built on producing retail-quality lip balms, sunscreens, and lotions, made from the highest quality ingredients.
With third party audits conducted regularly, our facility is FDA registered and is one of the few certified to manufacture USDA organic products. Raining Rose is also a Certified B Corporation, which means we've been recognized for meeting the highest standards of accountability, transparency, and social and environmental performance.
